Morplan shortlisted in

The Creative Retail Awards

Logo-print service running as normal

Morplan has been shortlisted in the Creative Retail Awards

for our work with Sir Tom Baker in the Independent Store

category.

The Morplan London team worked with Sir Tom Baker, a

bespoke tailors based in London, to create a cinematic

atmosphere that felt like a private atelier. The team

integrated tailoring fabrics and pattern books with

artisan tools, tailoring dummies, dark wooden hangers,

garment rails, and bespoke dress covers – transforming

retail fixtures into part of the store’s narrative and

customer journey. Rejecting the minimalism commonly

associated with luxury retail, the store confidently

embraces maximalism, combining Savile Row heritage

with influences drawn from rock-and-roll culture, Victorian

opulence, and contemporary fashion editorial styling.

Every design detail reinforces the brand’s unconventional,

expressive, and highly personalised positioning.

The awards will take place on Thursday 15th October at

The Clapham Grand in London, bringing together over

500 of the retail industry’s most influential figures.

The Restaurant and Takeaway Innovation Expo is coming up this

month, will we see you there?

Taking place over the 29th-30th September in Excel London, this

event is described as ‘Europe’s Premier Event dedicated to the

growth of restaurants & takeaways’.

Behind the scenes we’ve been relocating our

Head Office to a shiny new location and the team

has been hard at work getting everything set up

with minimal disruptions to our customers. We

are pleased to confirm that the Logo-print service

is now back to the normal timelines of 7 – 10

days, depending on the products being printed

and whether artwork support is needed. Not

Morplan Glasgow recently worked with

the Lake District Estate team to refit the

Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway gift shop.

This is our second project with them and

features items from the Vertigo range,

Frax35 display units, and Queen Vogue

modular bays - creating a neat and inviting

gift shop for visitors to the heritage steam

and diesel trains.

Laying products out so that they

make a triangular or pyramid shape
